Scholars
The Scholars' Database is a list of humanities scholars working in Arizona or on Arizona topics. For each scholar you'll find their professional affiliation, topics of study, and contact information.
A humanities scholar is someone who has at least a master's degree in one of the humanities disciplines: anthropology, archaeology, art history & criticism, comparative religion, ethics, history, jurisprudence, language, linguistics, literature, philosophy, and certain aspects of the social sciences. AHC also recognizes Native American elders and traditional teachers as scholars when involved in projects that focus on their cultures, as well as recognized experts who have a verifiable record of teaching, research, or publications on a topic.
